Senator William Frist, MD, is a nationally recognized heart and lung transplant surgeon, former U.S. Senate Majority Leader, founding partner of Frist Cressey Ventures and chairman of the Executives Council of the health service investment firm Cressey & Company. He is actively engaged in the business as well as the medical, humanitarian, and philanthropic communities.

As a U.S. Senator representing Tennessee from 1994 -2006 (the first practicing physician elected to the Senate since 1928), Dr. Frist was elected Majority Leader of the Senate, having served fewer total years in Congress than any person chosen to lead that body in history. His leadership was instrumental in the passage of the 2003 Medicare Modernization Act that established Medicare Advantage and the historic PEPFAR legislation that provided life-saving treatment globally to 20 million people.

Senator Frist graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Medical School, and completed surgical training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Stanford.  As the founder of the Vanderbilt Multi-Organ Transplant Center, he performed over 150 heart and lung transplants, authored over 100 peer-reviewed medical articles, and published seven books on topics such as bioterrorism, transplantation, and leadership.  He is board certified in both general and heart surgery. He continues to serve as an adjunct professor of surgery at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.

As a leading authority on healthcare, Senator Frist speaks nationally on health reform, government policy, global health, and education reform. In 2019, he launched “A Second Opinion” podcast, which addresses challenging healthcare issues of today from three distinct vantage points: policy, medicine, and innovation.

He is Co-Chair of the Health Project at the Bipartisan Policy Center, and co-founder of Aspire Health, the nation’s largest non-hospice community-based palliative care company. His board service includes the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, and publicly-traded companies Select Medical, Teladoc Health, Accolade, Smile Direct Club, and GS Acquisitions Holdings Corp II.  Senator Frist is one of only two individuals to rank in the top ten of each of the five inaugural Modern Healthcare Magazine annual surveys of the most influential people in healthcare in the United States.

Kristi Henderson is a healthcare change agent with over 25 years of experience designing, implementing and optimizing the health care delivery system using digital health tools and technology. She is the SVP of Telehealth & Innovation for Optum Health, where she is focused on modernizing the care delivery organization using digital health tools and telehealth. She most recently led clinical operations for Amazon Care, a healthcare initiative for Amazon employees and their families. Before joining Amazon, she designed and launched a national solutions center for patient access, virtual care, and care coordination for Ascension Health. She has a proven track record of delivering successful programs at scale that improve health and save money. She continues to integrate new technology into the care delivery model in order to deliver the most effective and efficient operating model. She is an adjunct faculty member in Population Health at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas-Austin and at the University of Washington School of Nursing.

Henderson thrives with complex challenges and consistently delivers results that exceed expectations. She is known for her ability to execute and sustain these models in advance of them becoming an industry standard as evidenced by her first launch of a telehealth program in 2003 which is recognized as one of only two of HRSA’s Centers of Excellence. She is resourceful, collaborative and known for her creative solutions that engage patients and empower clinicians. She has testified before multiple U.S. Senate committees and given numerous presentations across the country, including a TEDx, to advance telehealth policy and share innovative new models of care.

A few of her other leadership roles include service as an executive board member for the American Telemedicine Association; AAMC Telehealth Committee member, ANA co-chair for Committee on Connected Health and NQF Telehealth Committee. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and the Emergency Nurses Association.

Henderson received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she was recognized as the 2019 Distinguished Alumna from the School of Nursing. She maintains national certification as a family and acute care nurse practitioner.

Congresswoman Doris Matsui has represented the city of Sacramento and its surrounding areas since 2005.  As a senior member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, she serves on the Health, Environment and Climate Change, and Consumer Protection and Commerce subcommittees and is the Vice Chair on the Communications and Technology subcommittee. She is committed to strengthening Sacramento’s flood protection, ensuring quality, affordable health care for all, promoting a clean energy economy, and creating a vibrant region where families can live, work, and play.

Sitting at the confluence of two rivers, the Sacramento area has one of the highest flood risks in the country. Congresswoman Matsui is a stalwart champion for increased flood protection, levee improvements, keeping flood insurance rates affordable, and rebuilding smarter and more resiliently in the face of a changing climate. She was at the forefront of the effort to build the Joint Federal Project at Folsom Dam by working to secure $1 billion for this critical project that became the model of cooperation and efficiency. In addition, she worked rigorously to federally authorize the Natomas Levee Project. More recently, the Congresswoman was instrumental in securing $1.8 billion last year to help strengthen the Sacramento region’s levees and raise Folsom Dam. She also fights to preserve the region’s water rights. With climate change being a primary cause of more intense and unpredictable weather patterns her role in securing funding for flood control and infrastructure projects is even more critical.

Congresswoman Matsui passionately works to increase public transportation options in Sacramento. She is engaged in the planning and execution of an intermodal transportation center in downtown Sacramento and secured federal funds to extend Sacramento’s light rail system, including helping to provide critical federal resources to link Sacramento and West Sacramento. She also helped secure passage in the U.S. House of autonomous vehicle technology in the 115th Congress and plans to continue to lead in the effort to safely deploy intelligent and automated transportation technologies that will transform how we conduct business, transact and travel.

She has worked tirelessly to improve access to high-quality, affordable, accessible health care and was instrumental in crafting the Affordable Care Act (ACA), as a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee. She is a leader in Congress on the rapidly growing issue of telehealth and is the author of the bipartisan Excellence in Mental Health Act, which was signed into law by President Obama in 2014. A $1.1 billion federal investment, the Excellence in Mental Health Act demonstration will revitalize the community-based mental health system by creating a network of high-quality, evidence-based Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) in communities across the country. Congresswoman Matsui is the co-chair of the Congressional Task Force on Aging and Families, where she addresses the full spectrum of issues that affect seniors, from retirement security to long term care. Congresswoman Matsui also serves on the bipartisan Telehealth Working Group, helping to open up reimbursement for telehealth within the Medicare program.

Congresswoman Matsui has been a leader in Congress on promoting policies that address the climate crisis.  Under her leadership as a co-chair of the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC), the Caucus has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable infrastructure, tax incentives for clean energy, and blocking harmful directives from the Trump Administration that would undermine protections for human health and the environment. She has also authored a number of legislative proposals aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions while boosting clean energy manufacturing and financing to help smaller clean energy companies grow and create jobs. This includes commonsense new legislation, H.R. 978 that preserves higher fuel economy and vehicle emissions standards as well as a bill that ensures our healthcare system is ready and able to rapidly respond to the climate crisis.  She also sponsored legislation that allows her constituents to participate in the clean energy economy through specifically designated treasury bonds that fund renewable energy and energy efficiency programs at the Department of Energy. Thanks in large part to her efforts, the Sacramento region has been transforming into a clean-tech capitol, with over 200 companies in the region.

Congresswoman Matsui is also a leader on technology and internet policy. She is a Co-Chair of the bipartisan Congressional Spectrum Caucus, having authored laws that facilitated record-breaking spectrum auctions. She continues to focus on promoting the deployment of next-generation wireless technologies, such as 5G. She is also a leading proponent of net neutrality and ensuring access to the free and open Internet, previously writing legislation that would prohibit so-called Internet fast lanes from harming consumers, small businesses and innovators. As the co-chair of the bipartisan Congressional High Tech Caucus, she advocates for policies to expand the innovative use of technology across every sector of the economy. She also is an ardent supporter of advancing STEM education, especially for women and girls.

Because she has always felt the arts connect innovation with creativity and passion, Congresswoman Matsui has been a strong supporter of the arts not only in the Sacramento community but nationwide. She currently serves as a Member of the Board of Regents for the Smithsonian. She is also on the Council of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the Council of the National Museum of American History. She has previously served on the National Symphony Board and the Arena Stage Board.

Before coming to Congress, Doris Matsui served as Chairwoman on the Board for the KVIE public television station in Sacramento, and in leadership capacities for the Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento Children’s Home, and the Sacramento Symphony Orchestra.

After growing up on a farm in California’s Central Valley, Congresswoman Matsui graduated from the University of California at Berkeley.  She served as one of eight members of President Clinton’s transition board and later served as Deputy Assistant to the President in the White House Office of Public Liaison. Congresswoman Matsui succeeded her late husband Robert Matsui (who served in Congress from 1979-2005) in a special election in March 2005.

Congresswoman Matsui has a son Brian Matsui and a daughter-in-law Amy Matsui. She has two grandchildren, Anna and Robby. In the Spring of 2020, Congresswoman Matsui married Roger Sant, adding four children, their spouses, and six grandchildren to her family.

Sen. Michelle Benson is serving her fourth term in the Minnesota Senate. She represents district 31, which includes Anoka, Isanti, and Sherburne counties. Senator Benson currently serves as chair of the Health and Human Services Finance and Policy Committee.

Sen. Benson was raised on a farm in the western Minnesota community of Murdock and graduated with a B.A. in chemistry from St. Catherine University in Saint Paul. She later attended the University of St. Thomas, where she earned her M.B.A. Senator Benson is a certified public accountant and has worked as an auditor and consultant at Deloitte, as well as the Upper Midwest Security Alliance.

She is an active member of her community, having served as a Boy Scout and Cub Scout leader, as well as a board member, treasurer, secretary, and administrator for The Way of the Shepherd Montessori School. She is a member of the North Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Federation of Independent Businesses, and the National Rifle Association.

Sen. Benson resides in Ham Lake with her husband Craig, a small business owner, and their three children.

Senator Todd Young represents Hoosiers in the United States Senate. He currently serves on the Senate Committees on Finance; Foreign Relations; Commerce, Science & Transportation; and Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

A fifth-generation Hoosier, Todd grew up watching his parents work hard in order to support the family. His first jobs were delivering newspapers, mowing lawns, and providing janitorial services at the family business.

Todd is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He graduated with honors in 1995 and accepted a commission in the U.S. Marine Corps. In 2000, Todd was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps as a Captain. While serving in the Marines and working as a business consultant, Todd earned an MBA and his law degree.

In 2010, he ran for Congress and served three terms representing Indiana’s 9th District. He was elected to the US Senate in 2016.

Todd married his wife Jenny in 2005 and worked together at a small law firm in Paoli, Indiana, started by Jenny’s great-grandfather. Today, they reside in Greenwood, Indiana with their four young children: a son, Tucker, and three daughters, Annalise, Abigail and Ava.

Born December 14, 1972 in Nashville, Tennessee to the Late Rep. Harold M. Love, Sr. and Mary Y. Love he is the last of five children and the only male. He was educated in the public schools of Metro Nashville Davidson County and graduated with Honors from Whites Creek High School in 1990.  Graduated from Tennessee State University in 1994 with a Degree in Economics and Finance with a minor in Political Science, Graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Divinity in 1998 with a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies, and graduated from Tennessee State University 2017 with Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration. While attending Tennessee State University as an undergraduate he marched in the Aristocrat of Bands, and was initiated into the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. “Mighty Rho Psi” Chapter and elected president of the Graduating class. Was ordained an elder by the A.M.E. Church in 1999 and received his first Pastoral assignment at Hopewell A.M.E. Church, Columbia, Tennessee he was assigned to St. Paul A.M.E. Church on October 2002 in Nashville, Tennessee. In October 2014 appointed and served a year as Presiding Elder of The South Nashville District of The A.M.E. Church. In 2016 he was assigned to Pastor Lee Chapel AME Church, Nashville, Tennessee. He is a 33° Mason and a Shriner. He currently serves as a member of board the 18th Avenue Family Enrichment Center, he serves on the following Committees, Consumer & Human Resources, Education, State Government,  Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations (TACIR), and the House Democratic Caucus, Assistant Leader. His wife Leah Love is an Attorney and owner of Dupree Consulting Group.

Pamela Hunter is an Upstate NY native and a U.S. Army veteran, honorably discharged with a commendation medal and two achievement medals. Pamela received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Strayer College in Washington DC with concentrations in Human Resources and Computer Information Systems. She has a Professional Certification in Human Resources. She represents the southern and eastern portions of the City of Syracuse, as well as the surrounding towns of Dewitt, Onondaga, Salina and the Onondaga Nation.

Prior to her election to the NYS Assembly in 2015, Pamela served on the Syracuse Common Council for three years and chaired the Public Safety Committee. She has broad professional experience having held executive positions with nonprofit organizations and professional service firms and has served the community on various boards including Catholic Charities, Meals on Wheels and the Syracuse Industrial Development Agency.

Pamela is the only female veteran in the state Legislature, giving her unique insight as ¬chair of the Assembly Subcommittee on Women Veterans, working to expand access to benefits and services and improve job opportunities for women who’ve served our country. She also serves on the Energy, Insurance, Social Services, Transportation, and Veteran Affairs’ Committees, and is a member of the Black and Puerto Rican Legislators and Women’s Caucuses.

This year, Hunter authored legislation to provide assistance to tenants, protect the environment and aide veterans in employment.

Pamela is passionate about building a better future for Central New York. She believes that good jobs, improved schools and increased public safety will enhance quality of life and lead to stronger communities and greater success.

She lives in Syracuse with her husband and son.

Jane is a health economist, advisor and trend-weaver to organizations focused on the intersection of health, technology and people. Jane splits work between clients in the U.S. and Europe, spanning the health/care ecosystem including technology, pharma and life sciences, providers, plans, retail, financial services and consumer goods. She founded the Health Populi blog in 2007.

Adam Greenberg is General Counsel of Ro, the telehealth company behind Roman, Rory, and Zero. Adam is responsible for Ro’s legal, regulatory, government affairs, and risk management functions. Prior to Ro, Adam was Head of Legal and Public Policy at Warby Parker, where he contributed to the development of the company’s ocular telemedicine products. Before moving in-house, Adam worked in the litigation, IP/technology, and real estate groups at Skadden Arps. Prior to Skadden, Adam completed a judicial clerkship with The Honorable Ferdinand F. Fernandez of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Adam attended law school at the University of Southern California and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.

Quinn Shean leads the virtual care and digital health engagements for Tusk Strategies and Tusk Ventures, the first venture capital fund and political strategy firm dedicated to working with and investing in promising startups operating in regulated industries. Her experience includes strategic regulatory counsel on issues concerning telehealth, mobile medical applications, medical device requirements, privacy, marketing, and consumer protection, as well as crafting cohesive. messaging, building strategic partnerships, and facilitating grassroots outreach. Her varied background in the healthcare– from advising on policy during political campaigns to serving as legal counsel to major pharma companies to working as a strategist to innovative startups – has shaped a unique perspective of both the priorities and the challenges and opportunities confronting stakeholders as they consider emerging healthcare technologies. She recently was appointed by Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner to the Uniform Law Commission (ULC), which researches, drafts and enacts uniform and model laws on subjects for which uniformity of law among the states is necessary or useful, and serves on the Telehealth Committee.

Prior to joining Tusk, Quinn was a litigation associate at two major international law firms, where she represented pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer products clients in several multi-jurisdictional mass tort actions, consumer fraud class actions, and internal and regulatory investigations. Quinn began her career at Hart Research Associates in Washington D.C., where she conducted public opinion research on behalf of political and advocacy campaigns.

Nathaniel (Nate) Lacktman is a partner at Foley & Lardner LLP and Chair of the law firm’s national Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team. He advises entrepreneurial health care providers and technology companies on business arrangements, compliance, and corporate matters, with particular attention to telehealth, digital health, and health innovation. Working with hospitals, health systems, providers, and start-ups to build telemedicine arrangements across the United States and internationally, his practice emphasizes strategic counseling, creative business modeling, and fresh approaches to realize clients’ ambitious and innovative goals.

Nate was awarded the American Telemedicine Association’s 2019 Champion Award, which recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to ATA’s strategy of advocating for public policy changes that open payment support and provide regulatory pathways for telemedicine and digital health.

He speaks and writes frequently on issues at the forefront of telehealth and is often quoted for his insight about legal and business developments in this area. He has written telehealth legislation, regulations, comments, and policy input to lawmakers, the Drug Enforcement Agency, the Congressional Research Service, state Medicaid Agencies, and state boards of medicine across several states.

Neil Newhouse is a partner and co-founder of Public Opinion Strategies, a national political and public affairs research firm which has been described by the New York Times as “the leading Republican polling company” in the country. Neil has been named “Pollster of the Year” by the American Association of Political Consultants a record-tying three times for his work on political and public affairs campaigns.

Neil has worked in public opinion research for more than 35 years and has helped elect dozens of Members of Congress, U.S. Senators, and Governors. He has served as the Republican partner in the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, and he has twice been named as one of the “Money 20″ political consultants in the country who make a difference.

Neil has polled for four Presidential campaigns – Senator Robert Dole, President George W. Bush, Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and he was the lead pollster for Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney’s 2012 campaign.

In the 2020 elections, Neil was involved in Senate races in four states and in a dozen Congressional races. Crozer is the senior legislative assistant for Congressman Mike Thompson (D-CA), handling tax, economic and health care policy. In that capacity, Crozer has overseen the process of crafting the CONNECT Act 2.0 and additional telehealth legislation for the 116^th Congress, and has worked to advance substantial green energy and disaster-related tax legislation. Crozer has worked for Rep. Thompson since graduating from Colgate University in 2015.

If you ask Zipnosis CEO Jon Pearce what his superpower is, he will tell you it is to “have a vision, articulate it, and then inspire others around it.” It was that vision that led him to co-found Zipnosis in 2009 under the idea that there had to be a better, more consumer-centric way to deliver healthcare. She prides herself on working collaboratively with government, corporate and non-profit stakeholders to advance public policy for the 21st century. April has built her career advocating for innovative companies and projects and has participated in various panels and public hearings throughout the United States. She is a licensed New York attorney with a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.

At Mass General Brigham (Partners HealthCare), Dr. Joe Kvedar has focused on driving innovation, creating the market, and gaining acceptance for connected health for nearly three decades. He is now applying his expertise, insights, and influence to advancing adoption of telehealth and virtual care technologies at the national level. Dr. Kvedar continues to guide the transformation of healthcare delivery as a respected thought leader, author, and convener.

Dr. Kvedar is Chair of the Board of the ATA and served as Program Chair of the ATA2020 annual conference. As Editor-in-Chief of npj Digital Medicine, a Nature Research journal, he is working to establish the evidence base needed to guide innovation and the implementation of digital health.

He is co-chair the American Medical Association’s (AMA) Digital Medicine Payment Advisory Group (DMPAG), which works to ensure widespread coverage of telehealth and remote patient monitoring, and successfully established several new provider codes for telehealth reimbursement through the CPT process. Dr. Kvedar is also a member of the AAMC’s (Association of American Medical Colleges) telehealth committee, creating tools that will enable medical schools and residency programs to integrate telehealth into the training of future practitioners.

Dr. Coye advises investors, national health systems and policy makers about disruptive technologies and business models.

Dr. Coye also undertakes international consultancies with WHO and the ministries of health of European, Asian and Latin American nations, and speaks Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. As a member of the executive leadership team, she is executive sponsor for the Medicaid Transformation Project, which brings together more than 30 large U.S. health systems and health plans to focus on care models and scalable solutions addressing the needs of vulnerable populations.

Meghan O’Toole is the health policy advisor for Senator Brian Schatz (D-HI). Prior to joining Senator Schatz’s staff, she worked on Medicare policy and legislation at the Office of Legislation at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and on the health policy team at the Center for American Progress.  She also has experience working in the Chicago city government, at an education nonprofit, and in policy research at Mathematica Policy Research.  Meghan has an undergraduate degree in public policy from Duke University and a master’s degree in public affairs from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.

Elliot Vice serves as Director of Government Affairs for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. He directs, administers, and manages all aspects of NCSBN’s federal government affairs program, including legislative and regulatory outreach, promotion of NCSBN’s public policy agenda, and the development of strategic relationships. Elliot represents NCSBN as a member of the Nursing Community Coalition Steering Committee and serves on the American Telemedicine Association’s Policy Council.

Prior to joining NCSBN, Elliot was a member of the health care policy team at Prime Policy Group, where he advised clients on congressional and regulatory activity with a focus on the Affordable Care Act. Elliot also worked on Capitol Hill, where he served on the legislative and executive staff of former Senator Evan Bayh. Prior to moving to Washington, DC, Elliot traveled around the country working on political campaigns.

Mei Wa Kwong, JD has over two decades of experience in state and federal policy work.  She is the Executive Director for the Center for Connected Health Policy (CCHP), the federally designated National Telehealth Policy Resource Center.  She has written numerous policy briefs, crafted state legislation and led several coalition efforts on a variety of issues.  Ms. Kwong has published several articles on telehealth and telehealth policy in various peer reviewed journals and is the co-author of CCHP’s 50 State Medicaid Telehealth Reimbursement Survey.  She is recognized as an expert on telehealth policy and has been consulted by state and federal lawmakers on telehealth legislation and policy.

Prior to joining CCHP, Ms. Kwong was the Policy Analyst for Children’s Home Society of California where she worked on education and early childhood issues.  She was recognized for her work by the Child Development Policy Institute.

Ms. Kwong is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School and has a BA in International Affairs.

Wendy Everett, ScD, serves as a Senior Advisor to Avalere Health and other national health policy organizations. In 2002 she formed the Network for Excellence in Health Innovation (NEHI) and was its president and Chief Executive Officer for fourteen years. Along with NEHI’s founders, Dr. Everett created NEHI as an independent, research-based organization that convened diverse members of the health care industry to achieve the common goal of addressing the most urgent health care issues. This collective vision resulted in ground-breaking research on medical innovation, patient safety, health care spending and health care information technology, and has influenced significant national policy changes.

Previously, Dr. Everett held executive positions at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center (UCSF). She has directed national demonstration programs for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Kaiser Family Foundation.

In addition, Dr. Everett was the Vice Chair of the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission, an independent state agency that monitors the reform of the health care delivery and payment systems in Massachusetts and has become a model for the nation. She also serves on the boards of many philanthropic foundations, corporate, and non-profit organizations.

Dr. Everett earned two bachelor of science degrees and holds master’s and doctoral degrees in health policy and management from Harvard University.

Evan Hoffman serves as Philips Director of State and Local Government Relations. In this role, he leads Philips state and local government affairs efforts across all fifty states, working closely with mayors, city councilors, state legislators and governors. Evan works to advance an understanding of Philips business priorities among state policymakers, including policies that achieve the quadrupole aim of improving the patient and staff experience, improving patient outcomes, while lowering the cost of care.

Before Philips, Evan stood-up and led the state government affairs operations at the Global Business Alliance (known formerly as OFII), an association of hundreds of U.S. subsidiaries of international-businesses. Evan graduated from the University of Maryland.

Dr. Antall is a physician, health care entrepreneur and telehealth pioneer. He has a track record of disruptive innovation in the areas of care delivery, medical group management, patient experience and telehealth. Dr. Antall is President and a founder of a the Amwell Medical Group, a national telehealth physician organization, where he oversees a group of over 8000 providers, in multiple specialties and disciplines, who provide care in all 50 states. Dr. Antall has helped develop tools to train telehealth providers, manage supply and demand nationally, and to define and measure clinical quality in telehealth. Dr. Antall is actively involved in coordinating care with a variety of partners across the country including hospital systems, health plans, employers, and technology companies. Dr. Antall is a thought leader, speaker media voice and is active in the regulatory and legislative space as an advocate for modernization of telehealth rules and regulations.

Lauren Conaboy is the Vice President of National Policy at Centerstone, a not-for-profit health system specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatments. As Vice President of National Policy, Conaboy works to advance policy and regulatory initiatives to accelerate access to affordable, patient-centered behavioral health services that are rooted in the best science of care. Through her advocacy, Conaboy has directly influenced the passage of several bills including passing legislation to create the nation’s first ever three digit dialing code for suicide prevention (9-8-8) as well as directly influenced several provisions of the 2018 SUPPORT Act, a bill designed to combat the nation’s opioid crisis.

Prior to joining the Centerstone team, Conaboy worked as the Government Affairs Director for Seven Counties Services in Kentucky, where she advanced policies to increase access to addiction treatment services, engaged in the state’s 1115 waiver process, and co-chaired a committee that modernized the state’s telehealth regulations for Medicaid.

In addition to over a decade of experience running state and national public policy and advocacy campaigns, Conaboy has also worked in the clinical realm as a marriage and family therapist. In 2019 Conaboy was recognized by Business Insider as a top DC Health Policy Power Player.  Conaboy graduated from the University of Louisville with dual master’s degrees in Clinical Social Work and Marriage & Family Therapy and from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

As chief quality officer for Northwell Health, Mark P. Jarrett, MD, MBA, is responsible for system-wide initiatives in quality and
safety.

Dr. Jarrett is also Northwell’s deputy chief medical officer and a professor of medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School
of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

He previously served as chief medical officer and DIO at Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH). Prior to that appointment,

Dr. Jarrett was director of Rheumatology at SIUH from 1982-1999. Dr. Jarrett has extensive research experience, and has been
published on the subject of the immune response in systemic lupus erythematosus, quality and cybersecurity in health care.

Dr. Jarrett is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and
the American College of Rheumatology, and past president of the Richmond County Medical Society.

Dr. Jarrett earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal
medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, and a fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Jarrett also holds an MBA from Wagner College and an MS in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University. He is also
a certified Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP).

Ann Mond Johnson joined the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) as CEO in 2018. Her experience includes building, launching and leading client driven companies that have been innovators in healthcare technology and data to support consumers using healthcare.

Prior to joining the ATA, Ann served as CEO of Zest Health, a technology-enabled service; as Board Chair and Advisor to ConnectedHealth, a leading provider of private insurance exchanges; and as co-founder and CEO of Subimo, a pioneer in healthcare cost and quality decision support tools for consumers. Ann began her career in healthcare data and information as Senior Vice President at Sachs Group (now part of IBM Watson/Truven Health). She also worked at a multi-hospital system in Minneapolis which is now part of Allina.

Ann’s ability to inspire and lead diverse teams has helped build both profitable organizations and innovation in the industry. Widely acknowledged as a thought leader, she presents at a range of professional meetings and conferences. She also maintains an active professional network and affiliations, including membership in the Healthcare Executive Leadership Network and Women Business Leaders of US Healthcare. Ann served on the Healthcare Advisory Council for UMB Bank and as an advisor to several start-ups. She was inducted in the Chicago Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame in 2016.

Dr. Adaeze Enekwechi is a healthcare executive and leading voice in health policy including payment, equity and evidence-based policy making. She is committed to building a health care system that evolves beyond its current piecemeal, short-term approach to big solutions that meaningfully improve access to equitable, value-driven health care for all Americans.

Dr. Enekwechi most recently served as the President of IMPAQ, a policy research and implementation company focused on health, workforce, and advanced analytics. She successfully led the company through an M&A process that led to a successful acquisition by a strategic buyer in a deal that closed in May 2020. In her role as President, she provided strategic oversight of all research, technical assistance, and advanced analytics services across all policy and program areas at IMPAQ. She also led the organization’s work on health equity, advancing ideas and engagement with policymakers, payers, and providers to meaningfully improve quality, costs, and outcomes.

She served as the head of Health Programs at the White House Office of Management and Budget under President Obama, where she provided policy, management, and regulatory oversight for over $1.6 trillion in spending on Medicare, Medicaid, and a range of programs across all federal health agencies. The agencies and oversight areas under her authority included the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, where she directed the development of several key Medicare and Medicaid payment and delivery system reform initiatives through the Innovation Center. She also had primary responsibility for all operating divisions under the Department of Health and Human Services such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health, and the Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Enekwechi led OMB’s policy and spending negotiations for Medicaid demonstrations and Sec. 1115 waivers, major public health crises such as the US response to Zika virus, and several other public crises and challenges.

Dr. Enekwechi is highly experienced with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) implementation, playing a key role in driving ACA budget, policy, strategy, and operational coordination with various agencies, including the Department of Treasury, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Office of Personnel Management, among others. She has also served in executive leadership positions at consulting firms where she led the evaluation of Medicare payment policies, helped private equity companies review healthcare marketplaces and companies, and led the use of advanced analytics to support healthcare policy implementation.

Dr. Enekwechi completed a BA at the University of Iowa, an MPP at the American University, and a PhD in Health Services and Policy from the University of Iowa. She completed postdoctoral training at the University of Chicago. Her research area covers the aging population and Medicare, health equity for vulnerable populations, and evidence-based policymaking.

Dr. Enekwechi is a Research Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University. Her teaching focuses on federal health policy, the US health care infrastructure, health equity, and evidence-based policymaking. She also serves on the boards of directors and advisors for several private and nonprofit health care organizations.

Alexandra is a technology strategist and digital health expert aimed at improving and transforming healthcare at the intersection of technology, research and clinical care. She currently leads US market strategy for Koa Health, a European digital mental health startup.

Previously, she developed and implemented the digital, virtual and telehealth programs at adult and pediatric academic medical centers at Mass General Brigham and Boston Children’s Hospital. Formerly, serving as a White House Presidential Innovation Fellow, she led a team for Biden’s Cancer Moonshot initiative to improve access to clinical trials. She is passionate about transforming healthcare to help all people access better and more affordable care.

Christopher Logan joined VMware in October, 2015, and in his role he is responsible for empowering healthcare organization to achieve their strategic outcomes through the implementation of VMware’s solutions. Chris most recently was the Chief Information Security Officer for Care New England Health System located in Providence, RI, where his role was providing security and technology leadership and enabling positive business outcomes for the organization and its partners.

Chris has been in the IT community for 25 years where his main focus has been delivering technology leadership in both an operational and strategic capacity, spanning both public and private sector organizations. He has also worked in both security and technology leadership roles at Lifespan Corporation, Century Bank, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and he served in the United States Marine Corps. Chris was also a professor at Providence College in their graduate school of business, where he provided instruction to graduate students on the management of information technology and operations and service management.  He holds multiple industry certifications which include the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium as well as an MBA from Bryant University. He is also a board member for Association for Executives in Health Information Security (AEHIS).

Chris has assisted the organizations he has served by architecting systems and solutions that address their strategic, financial and operational objectives. He has extensive leadership experience in the areas of information security, privacy, compliance, continuity planning, standards adoption and implementation, vendor management and IT leadership. He is a past advisory board member for multiple technology solution providers and is a frequent speaker on topics related to technology modernization, leadership and information security and privacy.

Leslie Krigstein currently services as the Vice President of Government Affairs for Teladoc Health.

Leslie has been at the forefront of digital health policy throughout her career and most recently served as Livongo’s Vice President of Government Affairs where she served as the primary liaison to government entities and policymakers. She oversaw the development and execution of Livongo’s government relations and advocacy strategy.

Before joining Livongo, Leslie was the Vice President of Congressional Affairs at the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) where she oversaw CHIME’s congressional advocacy and engagement strategy. With a track record that includes passage of multiple pieces of legislation, Leslie positioned CHIME as a thought leader on issues including healthcare cybersecurity, patient identification, interoperability, and digital health.

Leslie first moved to the nation’s capital to join the legislative staff of Congressman Daniel B. Maffei (NY-25) and prior to joining CHIME, she was a member of the Congressional Affairs team at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Greg Fulton is a policy lead within the Philips Chief Medical Office, with an emphasis on digital health technology and delivery. He also leads Philips policy work on interoperability. His health IT experience in policy and government relations includes Congressional, Health & Human Services, state and industry organizational levels. He is a current member of the ATA’s remote patient monitoring working group, the Global Coalition on Aging’s digital health working group, he co-chairs the CommonWell Health Alliance Government Affairs Advisory Council and is a member of the HIMSS Government Relations Roundtable.

Dr. Tearsanee Davis is the Director of Clinical and Advanced Practice Operations for the Center for Telehealth at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She is responsible for all day to day telehealth clinical operations at the Medical Center. These telehealth services include Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) for chronic disease management, TeleMental health, Corporate Telehealth, Specialty Telehealth, and Store and Forward services.

With over 20 years of nursing experience, she has worked in various healthcare settings which include private practice, community health, emergency medicine, and academia. The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) has been a pioneer in Telehealth for over 15 years and the program has grown exponentially in the past 6 years. The UMMC Center for Telehealth now has numerous sites of service and delivers a large array of medical specialties.

In addition to representing the Center for Telehealth at various professional organizational meetings and committees and serving as principal investigator for numerous telehealth research projects, she is considered a thought leader for Telehealth in the rural community. She is a member of numerous professional organizations and participates in committees that promote the profession of nursing and bring attention to improving access to care for all. Dr. Davis received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Master’s degree (MSN) with a focus in Family Nurse Practitioner form Alcorn State University, and Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Carrie Nixon, Esq.is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Nixon Gwilt Law, a law firm focused exclusively on healthcare innovation. She also serves as Special Advisor to Empactful Capital, a healthcare venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. Luis Belén has founded and managed several initiatives that provide health-related solutions for
underserved communities and facilitates an interface with industry, organizations and government

Belen is the Chief Executive Officer of the The National HIT Collaborative for the Underserved, Inc.
(NHIT), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, established in 2008 with a mission to engage underserved
populations in the development and use of health information technology (HIT) as a means to support
and sustain health equity and economic viability based on NHIT’s five pillars: Workforce, Innovation,
Policy, Research, and Community. He is responsible for leading stakeholder engagement efforts with
the White House, Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS), Capitol Hill,
public/private/community organizations; national initiatives, and key convening’s such as the Annual
Conference, Wall Street Summit, and Congressional Briefings.

Belen is a Co-Founder of the HIMSS Latino Community. He serves on the Morehouse School of
Medicine’s (MSM) Trans-disciplinary Collaborative Center’s Health Information Technology Policy
Advisory Board. He also served on the Health IT Policy Committee – The Consumer Workgroup and the
Health Datapalooza Steering Committee.

Belen obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in New York, NY and attended the
A Better Chance program in Swarthmore, PA. Belen currently resides in Loudoun County, VA.

Jessica Wilkerson is a Cyber Policy Advisor with the All Hazards Readiness, Response, and Cybersecurity (ARC) team in the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) within the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). As part of ARC, she examines issues and develops policy related to the safety and effectiveness of connected medical devices. Previously, she worked as the Cybersecurity Research Director for the Linux Foundation, and spent over five years as a congressional staffer with the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, covering cybersecurity issues in the telecommunications, commercial, energy, and health sectors. As part of that work, she examined issues related to coordinated vulnerability disclosure, software supply-chain transparency, legacy technology risks, and cybersecurity governance models, among others. She received a B.A. in Policy Studies and minors in Computer Science and Mathematics from Syracuse University, and is currently pursuing a J.D. from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law.

Eric Wicklund has spent the last 5+ years as the senior editor of mHealthIntelligence.com, part of the Danvers, MA-based Xtelligent Healthcare Media network and one of the leading news and research sites on telehealth and mHealth.

He has more than a dozen years of industry experience, starting as managing editor for both Healthcare IT News and Healthcare Finance News at MedTech Media, then launching the company’s first telehealth site, then creating mHealth News when MedTech became HIMSS Media. Prior to that, he spent two decades in print newspapers in Maine, in roles that ranged from beat reporter to feature writer to sports and managing editor.

She is also the editor and lead author of the book Health Care Without Walls: A Roadmap for Reinventing U.S. Health Care.

Dentzer previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of NEHI, the Network for Excellence in Health Innovation; was senior policy adviser to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; editor-in-chief of the journal Health Affairs; and on-air Health Correspondent for the PBS NewsHour. She is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine and the Council on Foreign Relations and is a fellow of the National Academy of Social Insurance and the Hastings Center. Dentzer graduated from Dartmouth, is a trustee emerita of the college, and chaired the Dartmouth Board of Trustees from 2001 to 2004. Dentzer holds an honorary master’s degree from Dartmouth and an honorary doctorate in humane letters from Muskingum University. She and her husband, Charles Alston, have three adult children.

Dr. Nate Gross is the co-founder of Doximity, the professional network used by over 70% of US physicians. He serves as affiliated faculty for the Clinical Informatics Fellowship at Stanford, is on the advisory board for the Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation at Children’s National Medical Center, and is a founder of the digital health venture capital fund Rock Health.

Kirby Miller is a Legislative Assistant for Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS). Her legislative portfolio includes healthcare, defense health, and telecommunications policy. During her six-year tenure on Capitol Hill, she has served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressman Trent Kelly (MS-1), as well as roles in the offices of Congressmen Rod Blum (IA-1) and Stephen Fincher (TN-8). Greg Garcia is the Executive Director for Cybersecurity of the Health Sector Coordinating Council, the convening organization for critical healthcare infrastructure organizations working in partnership with HHS and other government agencies to protect the security and resilience of the sector, patient safety and public health.

Greg was the nation’s first DHS Assistant Secretary for Cybersecurity and Communications under President George W. Bush, 2006-09, where among other achievements he initiated the creation of the National Cyber and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC). He also served as executive director of the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council, stood up the I.T. Sector Coordinating Council, and held executive positions with Bank of America, 3Com Corporation, and the Information Technology Association of America.

Greg also served as professional staff on the Committee on Science in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he helped draft and shepherd enactment of the Cyber Security Research and Development Act of 2002.

Justin Elliott has been a part of the APTA team for 19 years having joined the association in January of 2002.  He has served as Vice President for Government Affairs since 2015, overseeing APTA’s congressional, political affairs, grassroots, and advocacy efforts aimed at Capitol Hill.  He previously served as the APTA associate director of State Affairs from 2002-2008, and director of state government affairs from 2008-2015.

Prior to joining APTA, he worked for a government affairs and issue management firm.  He also served as the Communications Director for Supervisor Penny Gross of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, and also served in the offices of former U.S. Senator Charles Robb and Congressman Tom Davis, both of Virginia.

Justin received his undergraduate degree in Communications and minor in Political Science from Virginia Tech.  He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Public Affairs Council.

Dave is an outspoken advocate worldwide on the transformative power of telehealth and the challenges and opportunities in an aging world.  He has served on the boards of Consumer Technology Association Health & Fitness Division, HIMSS’ Personal Connected Health Alliance, the Global Coalition on Aging, the Alliance for Connected Care and the American Chamber of Commerce China Health Cooperative.  In addition to numerous industry forums, Dave is an influential speaker in policy realms including United Nations, OECD, APEC, G-20, USA Capitol Hill, Milken, IFA, IAGG, WSIS events and ministerial meetings across Asia & the EU.  His call for a new social contract across ages was published in the AARP International Journal.

Dr. Donna O’Shea is the chief medical officer of population health management for UnitedHealthcare, the nation’s largest health care company. Dr. O’Shea provides enterprise-wide leadership to design and implement clinical quality and affordability strategies to better serve the health care needs of individuals, employers, and Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.

 Since joining UnitedHealthcare in 2013, she has helped build and expand hundreds of Accountable Care Organizations with health care providers and facilities nationwide to support the delivery of efficient, evidence-based care. She also collaborated with health care provider groups across the country to start or increase the use of technology to connect patients to medical services, including for primary care, chronic disease management and same-day visits. In addition, she leads HEDIS quality member focused programs and manages the Health Homes, a coordinated care management program for Medicaid beneficiaries. She is a national spokesperson, including for media interviews and webinars for health care providers.

Dr. O’Shea is a board certified OB/GYN and reproductive endocrinologist. She graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, completed her fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis and residency training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, is a fellow in the American College of OB/GYN and a Certified Physician Executive through the Certifying Commission in Medical Management.

Amy Sheon is a nationally recognized thought leader around digital health equity.  As President of Public Health Innovators, LLC, she consults with health systems, governments, philanthropic and medical professional organizations, and the tech industry to develop strategies to ensure meaningful and impactful adoption of digital health technologies.  As the founding Executive Director for the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine’s Urban Health Initiative, she developed HealthDataMatters.org, a community health open data and data visualization platform.  She also co-led the development of Neighborhood Immersion for Compassion and Empathy Virtual Reality health equity training and led the public health track of the Cleveland Medical Hackathon.  As a Senior Fellow at the National Digital Inclusion Alliance, she is pioneering creation of the digital health navigator model.  Sheon also serves as a founding Executive Advisory Board member of NODE.Health, the Network of Digital Evidence in Health.  Amy earned her BA in sociology (Cornell University), an MPH (University of Michigan), and a PhD in public health policy (Johns Hopkins University).

Dr. Hants Williams is a clinical professor and program director of Applied Health Informatics at Stony Brook University. As a seasoned clinician, published scientist, and healthcare founder he describes himself as a ‘full-stack’ healthcare professional. Dr. Williams has developed the functional skills of a clinician, researcher, and software engineer. These skills allow him to thrive in new and untested settings of care. As a researcher, his efforts have focused on behavioral change strategies for chronically ill, underserved patient populations. Dr. Williams pioneered one of the first remote, mindfulness-based stress reduction programs that was tailored for persons living with SCD in North Carolina. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals like the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management and BMC-Trials. More recently, Dr. Williams applies his academic research background within the commercial industry to help growth-stage companies determine acceptability, feasibility, and efficacy of novel care pathways and other business innovations that can enhance care delivery and outcomes for all.

Dr. Vaile Wright is the Senior Director of Health Care Innovation in the Practice Directorate at the American Psychological Association. She is a licensed psychologist, and researcher focusing on developing strategies to leverage technology and data to address issues within health care including increasing access, measuring care and optimizing treatment delivery at both the individual and system levels. As a spokesperson for APA, she has been interviewed by television, radio, print and online media including NBC News, the Today Show, CSPAN, The Washington Post, and NPR on a range of topics including stress, politics, discrimination and harassment, serious mental illness, telehealth and technology, and access to mental health care.

Julie is the founding partner of Capital Results. The company opened in 1998 with the idea that actively and creatively engaging citizens in even the most complex public affairs issues would lead to more successful efforts to change public policy.

While her work is primarily in developing strategic communications campaigns, with her depth of knowledge in government affairs her work often straddles the two practice areas to help clients achieve their goals. Julie believes in a hands-on approach and uses a broad network of relationships in government, politics and the media to help clients effectively communicate on policy issues.

Julie’s background prior to founding the company was primarily political communications, having served Governor George Allen and Vice President Dan Quayle.

Jarrett Lewis is a Partner at Public Opinion Strategies, a national political and public affairs research firm, whose clients include leading political figures, Fortune 500 companies, and major associations. The firm is also part of the bi-partisan research team that conducts the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. Jarrett has extensive experience conducting survey research and providing advisory services for large health systems and healthcare companies, as well as political campaigns.

Jarrett was previously Executive Director of Health Policy at The Health Management Academy, a network of executive leaders from the 100-largest hospital systems across the U.S. In that role he advised C-Suite hospital system executives on federal policy initiatives and strategy. He also created and led a business unit offering advisory services to health system executives using proprietary survey research data in areas of business development, marketing, budgeting and health policy. Additionally, he directed a quarterly healthcare survey of 1,500 consumers, sponsored and published by the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). He regularly speaks to health system and healthcare company Boards of Directors and leadership teams on the topics of health policy and consumerism in healthcare.

Jarrett began his career at Public Opinion Strategies, providing survey research analysis to federal and state campaigns during the 2008 election cycle. He worked for Public Opinion Strategies again during the 2012 election cycle, serving as a strategist and pollster to the Romney for President Campaign from 2011-2012. In that role Jarrett provided in-depth analysis of internal survey research data to senior campaign officials, including over 300 surveys and 150 focus groups.

Jarrett is a RIVA-trained focus group moderator and has moderated or managed over 200 focus groups in his career. He has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BA in Political Science from Clemson University, where he was a member of the men’s varsity soccer team. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife Elise and their son.

Shawn Remacle is the US Provider CIO, Microsoft US Health and Life Sciences and is based in Leesburg, VA. Shawn participates in developing strategy and point-of-view for the US Healthcare Provider and Payor Industry and helps senior health decision makers envision and develop a plan for how their business, clinical and IT objectives can be digitally transformed using the Microsoft platform.

Shawn has over 33 years’ experience in information technology with 23+ of those years specifically working in Healthcare positions. For the 10 years prior to working for Microsoft, Shawn was the Chief Information Officer at a multi-hospital, integrated health provider in North Carolina.

Justin Macy, PharmD, JD, leads NABP’s Digital Health team, which verifies legitimate Digital Health community members and conducts research on illegal actors. Justin specializes in the intersection of law, technology, and healthcare with a focus on healthcare practice and FDA regulations. Justin serves as the Chair of the ASOP Global Foundation Board of Directors. Prior to joining NABP, Justin was a specialist in Amazon’s Consumer Legal department and Associate Director of Innovation at LegitScript.

Dr. Shen currently oversees US Operations for Babylon Health, whose AI-powered virtual care platform aims to place accessible and affordable care in the hands of every person on earth. In line with this mission, Babylon US has taken on the unique responsibility of delivering digital-first primary care to a Medicaid population while bearing full risk.

Dr. Shen’s career has centered on transformative value for vulnerable populations. He was most recently the President of St. Louis Children’s Hospital, part of the BJC system and partners with Washington University School of Medicine. Prior to that, he was a senior executive for Ascension Texas to include roles as Senior Vice President of Network Development, CEO of Seton and Dell Children’s Health Alliance, and President of Dell Children’s Medical Center. He currently continues to serve as an Associate Professor for Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Shen received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, and his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Michele Lueck is President of the Colorado Health Institute (CHI). Since joining in 2010, she has led a decade of expansion, positioning CHI as a leading source of trusted analysis for policymakers, health organizations, and communities across the state.

Michele believes that sound policy improves the health and well-being of all Coloradans, a notion that has defined her career. She serves as an advisor to leading organizations on strategic direction and policy issues.

CHI has grown tenfold under Michele’s leadership. Today, CHI combines a robust consulting practice with independent analyses that inform policy and practice. Michele previously led two nonprofits on Colorado’s Western Slope. Before entering the nonprofit sector, she worked in strategic services at Sg2 and other consulting firms.

Michele chairs the board of Adams State University. She also serves on the National Network of Public Health Institutes board and on Colorado’s eHealth Commission. In 2020, Michele was selected as a Denver Business Journal Most Admired CEO.

Michele has an undergraduate degree from Harvard and a master’s degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She lives in Englewood with her husband Bill, where they frequently house (and feed) their two college-aged kids. Sarah-Lloyd comes to Faegre Drinker with nearly a decade of experience in the federal government. During her seven years serving as the chief health policy advisor to Senator
Roger Wicker (R-MS), Sarah-Lloyd focused on federal health policy with a large focus on telehealth. During this time, she helped author and ultimately enact parts of the CONNECT
for Health Act, a telehealth reform bill aimed at expanding telehealth reimbursement in Medicare. After her time on Capitol Hill, Sarah-Lloyd served as an advisor to the Secretary
of Health and Human Services before heading to the White House where she focused on technology and telehealth policies among other issues.

Kyle Zebley is Director of Public Policy at ATA, working with and on behalf of ATA members and like-minded organizations to eliminate barriers to the expansion of telehealth and ensure patients, providers, and payers can realize the benefits of virtual care. Previously, Kyle was the Chief of Staff in the Office of Global Affairs (OGA) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Kyle collaborated with senior leadership from HHS, the White House and other cabinet departments to develop, advise, and promote U.S. global health policy, including in such policy areas as drug pricing, global health security, and non-communicable diseases. Prior to HHS, Kyle worked in Congress as a Legislative Director, leading a legislative team in developing policy and drafting legislation, particularly on matters concerning the House Committee on Ways and Means, the House Budget Committee and the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.

Megan serves a range of clients on digital health issues, including telehealth and digital therapeutics policy. Prior to joining Faegre Drinker, Megan was Legislative Director for U.S.
Representative Doris Matsui (D-CA), handling her health care portfolio on the prominent House Energy & Commerce Committee. In that role, she was a leader on the Energy and
Commerce Committee’s Telehealth Working Group and assisted the Congresswoman in leading multiple pieces of bipartisan telehealth legislation, including provisions around
telehealth for substance use disorder that became law. Megan has a particular interest in issues affecting health care providers as she started her career in health care financial
consulting for hospital clients.
